Here is a beautiful piece inspired by a fragment of a Aztec sculpture. The original is from circa 1300 CE. Like the original, this piece is made of fired and painted clay and depicts three stages of life (youth, middle age, and death), it is also thought to represent the cycle of death and rebirth.
Pieces will vary in color and shape due to hand assembly and detailing.
